SURREAL BATMAN ART AT WESTFIELD MONTGOMERY MALL (PHOTO)

I found this surreal Batman artwork in the Wentworth Gallery in Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda.

It appears to be a cross between Dali and a bad lounge happy hour.

But it's redeemed by the classic Adam West Batmobile, which Chris Nolan should have studied more closely.

I wonder what the connection was between cocktails and batman? I assume the artist was drunk..lol.
Batman as an olive?

The artist is Michael Godard, who paints the secret lives of martini olives (and other cocktail garnishes as well). This is one from his superhero collection - we should be getting more this week. Not for all tastes, but lots of fun! He'll be at Wentworth Gallery Montgomery on Saturday, August 23rd. Thanks for the press, as always, Robert!
