A rare item of good news from White Flint these days:
Longtime White Flint Mall tenant Bertram's Inkwell has reopened in its new location, directly across the street from the mall.
Bertram's is now located in One Central Plaza, at 11300 Rockville Pike, Suite 109.
The store has a wide variety of specialty writing instruments, papers, and other pen-related accessories.
Stop by and say hello. There is garage parking as well as street parking.

Good to hear that Bertram's is alive and well!
There was an interesting report on WJLA in January that reported that small businesses in the mall are in trouble.
It said:
"For months, the White Flint Mall has been marked for demolition. Most of the big anchor stores are closed and now independent shops are feeling the impact."
Here's what a White Flint small business owner said:
"“A lot of people, you hear, when they call on the phone they say, ‘The mall is already closed. Where did you move to? Have you closed the store yet?’ and no, we haven’t done anything,” he says.
There are still some small shops open inside at this point, but there have been many closures since January. They are hurting because the traffic inside the mall is low.
Fortunately, Bertram's was able to find a spot right across the street.
