NATIONALS' DREW STOREN TO APPEAR AT BETHESDA BASEBALL HOLIDAY AUCTION THIS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17

The annual Bethesda Baseball Holiday Auction, sponsored by the Bethesda Big Train and BCC Baseball, will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM this Sunday, November 17, at the Doubletree Bethesda hotel. You can register now to attend this benefit that raises money to build and restore youth baseball fields in Montgomery County and the District.

Hard-throwing Washington Nationals pitcher Drew Storen is the headlining guest this year. Storen says he is "excited to team up with the Bethesda Big Train for their annual holiday auction. [I] look forward to meeting a bunch of fans for an awesome cause, and spreading some awareness of this great organization.”

Among items to bid on will be vacations, tickets to concerts and sporting events, meet-and-greet experiences and restaurant gift certificates.

Organizers expect almost 200 attendees, and hope to raise $50,000. Both BCC Baseball and the Bethesda Big Train are 501 (c)(3) charitable organizations, and  donations will be fully tax deductible.
