SNEAK PEEK OF PUBLIC ART, SHOPS AT BAINBRIDGE BETHESDA LUXURY APARTMENTS (PHOTOS)

Some major developments from the Bainbridge Bethesda luxury apartment tower construction site: First, the protected walkway has been removed from the sidewalk along Fairmont Avenue. Second, the future storefronts of the ground floor retail spaces are now revealed, as well as the loading docks. Finally, I have a sneak peek of the public art that will be displayed on the pedestrian plaza at the building, which connects St. Elmo and Fairmont Avenues.

Still some work to be done here...

If Bethesda wants to be seen as an arts destination, they should thinking about allowing local artists to paint things like utility boxes and the outside of the Verizon CO and Pepco substations.
