Rumi Tea & Spice now open at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda (Photos)

Rumi Tea & Spice is now open at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. In addition to a wide variety of teas and spices, the shop also offers herbs, seasoning blends, and dry vegetables. This makes it a good stop for those seeking new ingredients for homemade soups, stews and meat.

In addition to the "usual suspects" of the modern tea world, they also have one type I've not heard of before, Rooibos tea. Rumi is on Level 1 next to Claire's, and near Macy's.

What failed business used to be here?

#DeadMall

6:45: The parking lots are jammed, and they just added a bunch of high end tenants from Bethesda Row. Do you realize how idiotic you sound claiming it's a "dead mall"? When does lululemon open in a dead mall?

Bethesdans won't be fooled by this phony "Bethesda Row II". They demand the genuine article.

Montgomery Mall doesn't have a Metro station, and you can't walk there from anywhere.

9:47AM Westfield Montgomery has a bus transit center.

In fact, you can take a bus from downtown Bethesda right to the mall.

Enjoy a movie and the fine shopping at Westfield and then take the bus back.

A bus and the train can get you to Friendship Heights. Plus there is ample parking. Heck there is even Capital Bikeshare.

Apples and oranges. Montgomery Mall has far more shopping options than downtown Bethesda or Friendship heights.
